This is how to make a thick and creamy non dairy chocolate oatmeal shake with just a few low cost ingredients. The shake is absolutely delicious, low fat, low cal and with all the oats good for your heart and cholesterol too, there has to be something wrong with it but I haven't found it yet.
I made these shakes when I was trying to come up with something for my Mom to eat after she came home from the hospital, She was drinking those nutramint type drinks but I read the ingredients and tasted them and they are mostly corn syrup and milk byproducts, not too good plus they tasted bad- this was a lot better and tasted better too, The shakes make a good instant breakfast plus you can add oranges and other fruits or wheat germ or ground flax seed to add more nutrition, I even added peanut butter, this oatmeal shake ROCKS!!
