This a midi controller I have put together from parts from a e-keys usb midi keyboard. I took an e-key midi usb keyboard, took the PCB out and used it, soldered wires to it (to key contacts) that are connected to buttons. So basically when a button is pushed a NOTE midi signal is sent to the computer as if a key on the e-keys keyboard were being pusher. I use these notes to assign them to different functions/buttons in Ableton Live using the MIDI MAP function in Live. I've designed this midi controller so it would look as much as possible as the mixer in Ableton Live. Watch my other video where I use it to control parameters in Ableton Live.
