*******www.gwm-tv**** - Renewable energy in Brazil will be under the spotlight at the simultaneous United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP-16) and the World Climate Summit (WCS) taking place over the next two weeks. Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association (UNICA) president, Marcos Jank, will be presenting at the summits. He said Brazil plays an inspirational role for other nations in the search for solutions for global warming and climate change. Nearly 50 per cent of all the energy used in Brazil comes from renewable sources, which is three times the global average and can largely be attributed to the development and production of sugarcane ethanol.
